To honor the memory of our Founder President, MEDC organizes "Dr. D.R. Gadgil Memorial Lecture" every year on various topics. The lectures in the past have been delivered by luminaries like Dr. Montek Singh Ahluwalia, Dr. R. A. Mashelkar, Dr. Vijay Kelkar, Prof. Avinash Dixit, Dr. Y. K. Alagh, Dr. Kaushik Basu, Mr. Devendra Fadnavis, Dr. Raghuram Rajan, Dr. Rajiv Kumar and Shri Nitin Gadkari amongst others.
